4
Click in the "Password" field and enter your temporary password. Then click the blue "Login" button.

5
First-Time Security Setup: If this is your first time, you must set up your Authenticator App. Click the "Authenticator App" button.

6
Open your Authenticator App on your smartphone. Look for the "+" sign or the option to "Scan a QR Code". Scan the large black and white box (QR Code) shown on your computer screen. Once scanned successfully, click "Next" on the computer screen.

7
The Authenticator App will show a 6-digit number that changes every 30 seconds. Type this number into the "Enter verification code" field on your computer and click "Submit"

8
Recovery Codes: You will see 10 important Recovery Codes. These are one-time-use backup codes for emergencies. Choose how you would like to back up these codes. “Copy” will copy them to the clipboard of the computer and let you paste them into a secure location. “Print” will send them to a printer connected to your computer and then you can secure the hard copy of the codes.

9
You will be asked if you trust the device. If this is your computer, click "Yes, I trust this device" to reduce future MFA prompts.

10
On the next screen, click the "Reset" button (near your email address) to officially start the password change process.

11
Review the Acceptable Use Policy and click "I agree to these conditions" to continue.

12
On the "Change Password" screen, enter your new, secure password in the "Password" field.

13
Re-enter your new password in the "Password Confirmation" field. Make sure the four security requirements listed are all checked green.
