Samsung Phone Errors on Scanning QR Code for MyTime-SSO

Issue Summary:

A recurring problem observed on Samsung devices is that the device will not accept the FCPS SSO Authentication code after scanning the QR code.
Attempts to access FCPS resources using the generated code result in an "Invalid Code" error message.

Solution:

You need to change the way the phone updates the Date and Time. The following steps will allow you to adjust how the phone syncs time.

Open Settings.

Tap General Management.

Tap Date and Time.

Make sure the "Automatic" toggles are off.

Tap Set Date and Done.

Tap Set Time and Done.

Select the time zone or toggle "Set timezone based on location" and close the menu.

Have the MFA reset by contacting your site TSSpec, or call the Tech Support Desk.
