FCPS Single Sign-On (FCPS-SSO) for families using SIS ParentVUE credentials
Issue Summary:
A family member is considering enrolling in multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Family members may elect, but are not required at this time, to enroll in multi-factor authentication (MFA).
Solution:
Option A: Some parents will be prompted to register for MFA upon signing into an FCPS application.

When prompted, select your preferred MFA option. While Email is encouraged, choose what best suits your needs.

If using the email option, retrieve the Email One Time Passcode (OTP) from the email address that matches your SIS Primary Email.
Alternatively, complete the process to enroll your chosen MFA option.

Enter the Email OTP Code and click Next

Option B: Parents can always enroll and manage their MFA options directly:

Go to https://sso.fcps.edu/enduser/#/profile and sign in using your SIS ParentVue username and password and click login.
Alternatively, sign in at https://sso.fcps.edu and click Profile.

From the Sign-in & Security screen select Change next to 2-Step Verification

Enroll a new or manage your 2-Step options.
While we encourage you to choose Email, please select the option that best suits your needs.

Notes:
The MFA options presented are based on the registration information in the FCPS Student Information System, and the email address used will be the same as your FCPS system logon email.
To update or change the Primary Email associated with your student's registration record, please contact your student's school.
